The story we tell ourselves about the brands we engage with are based on how we feel during that interaction.
Sometimes the story is good, sometimes bad… and the opinion/story formed may not even be accurate (based on true intention of the brand/business owner).

If someone employs psychological copyrighting and marketing tactics on me — the story I tell myself about them is that they are a profit first, people second kind of business/brand/person.
It may not be accurate (or fair), but it IS the story I’m telling myself because of how I felt when engaging with that brand.
